New Hyundai Santa Fe for Sale near Reading OH

Get to know the all-new, redesigned 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe

You might have noticed that Hyundai switched up its lineup this year and said goodbye to the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Well, sort of. They ditched the name, did a complete redesign of the five-passenger crossover, and our now calling it the Hyundai Santa Fe (the three-row model which used to have that name is now being called the Santa Fe XL, starting in the 2019 model year.)

Let's see what the newest generation of the Santa Fe has to offer!

Style

Hyundai is known for making stylish vehicles, and the older Santa Fe Sport already stood out in Reading OH. The new version is even more eye-catching and has a more traditional SUV shape mixed with crossover curves. Its vibe is both rugged and sleek, making it perfect for drivers who want to go hiking near Cincinnati or those who're heading downtown for a night out at their favorite restaurant and want to pull up in style.

Safety

The Santa Fe not only looks great, but it also comes well-equipped with standard advanced safety technologies to help protect passengers. Even on the base model you'll have a host of crash avoidance features that are useful on the city streets of Covington KY or also around the Wyoming OH suburbs. You'll get:

  • Blind spot collision avoidance assist
  • Rear cross traffic avoidance assist
  • Lane keeping assist
  • Forward collision avoidance assist w/pedestrian detection
  • Safe Exit Assist
  • Driver Attention Warning
  • Smart cruise control with stop/go
  • The Safe Exit Assist is actually a class-exclusive feature, and the vehicle can sense if traffic is approaching and automatically locks the door. This is especially useful for Santa Fe owners with small children out back who might forget to check before opening.

Other features you can get on the higher trims include a heads-up display, rear parking assist sonar, and full LED headlights for better visibility in all conditions.

    Convenience Amenities

Designers gave the redesigned Santa Fe some enviable features. All trims come with a touchscreen that can use Hyundai's system or Apple CarPlay™/Android Auto™ if you want a smaller learning curve. On higher trims you can get a hands-free liftgate for easy cargo loading, a wireless charging pad to cut down on cords, and power adjusting driver's seat. We're especially fond of the surround view monitor on the top trim level that makes hitting that parallel parking spot on the first try a breeze!

Hyundai also has subscription programs for modern ownership and starting at the SEL trim you can get three Hyundai Blue Link services: Blue Link Telematics, Blue Link Connected Care (three-year subscription), and Blue Link Remote (three-year subscription).  With these services you can do the following and much more:

    • Remote start your vehicle so it's at the perfect temp when you hop in
    • Remotely lock or unlock your car
    • Check vehicle diagnostics
    • Set curfew reminders, speed alerts, and geofencing for teen drivers

    Performance

Whether you're driving around curving backroads or bustling Newport KY, you'll have enough power to get from Point A to Point B. The standard engine is a 2.4L with 185 horsepower and 178 lb-ft torque. If you want more in the way of performance, the top to trims can upgrade to a 2.0L turbo option with 235 horsepower and 260 lb-ft torque. This more powerful option is also ideal for shoppers who plan on consistently having a full car and would appreciate the extra power.

On the standard engine you can tow up to 2,000 pounds and on the larger engine up to 3,500 pounds, when properly equipped. In terms of cargo space, the Santa Fe has 35.9 cubic feet with the seats up and max space of 71.3 cubic feet with the backseats folded flat.

With its news looks, robust list of advanced safety technologies to help with collision avoidance, convenience technologies, and capability, the redesigned 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe continues to prove it's a segment contender.
